MediaCityUK is part of the vision of Salford City Council's regeneration scheme for Salford Quays and the docks so that they will once again be a thriving place of employment and recreation for all who live and work in Salford and on the Quays.
Ordsall and Langworthy Community Committees are working closely with us here at The Anchor and with the OasisMediaCityUK Academy to create a partnership where we can make sure that local residents have plenty of reasons to come and enjoy the site, whether they come for a walk through the landscaped gardens, work for one of the many companies moving here, beome a student at the local university or simply come to enjoy music and media in a fantastic purpose built environment.
We will let you know about all community events that are taking place here on the website, through the Neighbourhood Committees and also through St Clements and the Salford All Saints Team. We especially invite members of these Ordsall and Langworthy and the Quays to come and join us at The Anchor and be a part of what is happening here at MediaCityUK.
Let us know if there are any social events that you would like to see on site, or if you feel that some members of the community are not getting the opportunity to make the most of MediaCityUK and we will do our best to make it happen.
