MediaCityUK offers more that just media-centric activities,
the space itself is an architectural work of art and offers plenty of scope for installations of all kinds.
The piazza holds over 5000 people for huge outdoor concerts; across the width of the central BBC building will be huge screens that will allow people to watch programmes being filmed, or the Philharmonic playing in their studio.
There is a small stage near the tram-stop for smaller productions, bands or one person shows, and the long canopy under the four tall lights give another futuristic weatherproof set for a variety of entertaining events or artistic installations.
All events and installations will be adverstised on this site, and if you have any ideas - especially for events that will appeal to our communities - then please get in touch and we'll see what we can do to make it happen.
