About Us

The Anchor at MediaCityUK is a Churches Together initiative backed by the Church of England.  The Chaplain is employed by Manchester Diocese and is an ordained Anglican priest.  There are ecumenical representatives working voluntarily and on placement with The Anchor at various times throughout the year.  If you or your Church wish to join us, please do contact the Chaplain.

Despite it's Christian leadership and funding, The Anchor is open to people of all faiths and none, and we especially welcome people to come and join the various volunteer activities as a part of our team.

The Chaplaincy is fully inclusive, and accepts people from all walks of life with open arms, striving to show God's love for everyone while speaking out for the oppressed.  All are welcome.
